  1. 1. Editorial Policy
  2. WAJAHS is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal committed to publishing high-quality research in all areas of Allied Health Sciences. All submittedd manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening, followed by double-blind peer review.
    • 2. Scope of the Journal
    • WAJAHS publishes original research, reviews, case reports, short communications, and commentaries in fields including:
      • Nursing
      • Medical Laboratory Science
      • Radiography
      • Physiotherapy
      • Public and Community Health
      • Nutrition and Dietetics
      • Health Information Management
      • And other allied health disciplines
    • 3. Manuscript Submission
      • Submissions must be original and not under consideration elsewhere
      • Manuscripts should follow the WAJAHS Author Guidelines and be submitted electronically to: editor@wajahs.org (inaugural edition) and subsequently through a portal created by authors
      • The editorial team reserves the right to reject manuscripts that fall outside the journal's scope or fail to meet submission requirements
    • 4. Peer Review Policy
    • WAJAHS follows a double-blind peer review process:
      • Each submission is reviewed by at least two independent experts.
      • Authors will receive feedback and may be asked to revise their manuscripts before final decision.
      • Reviewers remains anonymous throughout the review process.
    • 5. Publication Ethics
    • WAJAHS adheres to international standards of ethical publishing (COPE guidelines), including:
      • Prohibition of plagiarism, data fabrication/falsification.
      • Mandatory conflict of interest disclosures.
      • Ethical approval for studies involving human/animal subjects.
    • 6. Open Access Policy
    • All articles in WAJAHS are published under an open access model. Full texts are freely accessible on the journal's website without subscription or payment.
      • 7. Copyright and Licensing
        • Authors retain copyright of their work.
        • Articles are published under Creative Commons license (CC BY 4.0), allowing redistribution with proper attribution.
        • 8. Archiving and Indexing
        • WAJAHS will be archieved digitally and is working toward indexing in reputable academic databases (e.g, African Jouranls Online, DOAJ, Google Scholar).
          • 9. Frequency of Publication
          • The journal is published biannually, with issues released in June and December.
