Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Manuscript Structure
A. Title Page
- Title (include study type if appropriate)
- Full names of all authors (First Middle Last)
- Affiliations (department, institution, city, country)
- Email address of corresponding author
- Word count for abstract and main text
B. Abstract
- Structured into: Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusion
- No references or undefined abbreviations
- Include up to 6 MeSH keywords
C. Main Body
- Use the IMRAD format:
- Introduction
- Methods
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusion
D. Other Required Sections
- "What is known about this topic" (3 bullet points)
- Acknowledgements (optional)
- Authors' Contributions
- Funding Disclosure
- Conflict of Interest Statement
E. References
- Preferred Style: APA (7th Edition)
- All citations and references myst follow the APA style. We encourage authors to use ferences managers like Zotero, EndNote, or Mendeley for consistency.

F. Figures, Tables & Supplementary Files
- Tables: Max 3, placed after references (each on a separate page), with clear titles and footnotes.
- Figures: Max 2, submitted separately as high-resolution JPEG, PNG, or TIFF (max 4MB). Captions should be included in the main manuscript.
- Supplementary Material: Accepted only when essential. Submit separately and reference in the text.
G. Review & Publication Fees
- WAJAHS does not charge article processing fees for the inaugural edition. Updates on fees will be posted on the journal website.

3. Submission Process:
- All manuscripts should be submitted via the journal's submission portal.
- Include a cover letter stating the manuscript title, type, and confirming originality and authorship contributions.
4. Peer Review Process:
- Double-blind peer review
- Typical turnaround time: 4 - 6 weeks
- Authors may be asked to revise and resubmit based on reviewer feedback.
5. Ethical Considerations:
- Authors must disclose conflicts of interest and confirm ethical approval for studies involving human/animal subjects. Authors would be required to sign a conflict of interest and copy right declarations forms if their articles have been accepted.
- Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
